I started playing piano when I was five years old and eventually started playing the violin in the summer of my fourth grade year. Since then, I have developed a great passion for music and its ability to bring people together. In the past, I have had the great honor to play violin for the Youth Orchestras of Fresno, FMCMEA (Fresno-Madera County Music Educators Association) Honor Orchestras, as well as the 2019 CODA (California Orchestra Director Association) Honor Orchestra. Additionally, I have participated in several piano competitions and conventions, and I have received many state and branch honors for my participation in Certificate of Merit with piano. As well as that, I joined the Little Virtuosos Project because I have a desire to meet fellow musicians that are leaders in my community. Furthermore, I joined this organization to dig deeper into the implications of music and its proven ability to change lives. To me, music is my safe place where I can be who I want and express what I want, and I am so thankful for this opportunity to spread the power of music to the people around me.
